Kristin Battista-Frazee is the author of The Pornographer’s Daughter and a marketing and communications professional with more than 15 years of experience working in the mental health advocacy community and online learning companies.
Currently, Kristin is a marketing director at 2U, Inc., a company that partners with top-ranked universities to bring their graduate degree programs online, and directs the marketing for the online Master of Social Work program at the University of Southern California School of Social Work.
Early in her career, Kristin was a social worker who advocated on behalf of older adults. She parlayed her interest in making the world a better place into legislative and communications work on Capitol Hill. She raised awareness about mental health issues and helped secure resources for behavioral health providers who serve people with mental health disorders.
Kristin is also a contributor to The Daily Beast and has published many articles about the adult industry and the controversy surrounding pornography. She lives in suburbs of Washington, DC with her husband and daughter, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Social Work Degree from Columbia University.
